Rating: high

Description: 10 inch tri-ply stainless steel frying pan

Pros: stainless steel clad design, nice handle, solid construction

Cons: none

Conclusion: This 10 inch fry pan is from the Kirkland Costco 13 piece tri-ply stainless steel cookware set.

We have used many 10 inch pans over the years, from Mauviel to All-Clad, and Kirkland's 10 inch fry pan from the set available from Costco compares very favorably. We tested this pan with rib-eye steak and it heated up pretty quick, seared very well and retained the heat through cooking very well.

There is not much to complain about with this pan. We have also tested the Calphalon 10 inch clad design and both do an excellent job. The Kirkland brand is a little heavier and the handle is more comfortable, we also like that the lids from the set will fit this pan.

Assuming your kitchen needs a 10 inch frying pan you can't go too wrong with any of the clad design pans, we just have not seen a bad one. But since this pan comes in a very affordable set it makes the choice very easy.
