Cons: Blade is thick and not of good quality. Weight: 7 3/4 ounces Conclusion: This is a poor quality bread knife. The blade is much too thick to be effective with either bread or a fine pastry. We prefer the Wüsthof Classic 8-Inch Bread Knife over this knife. Even though this is not an expensive knife, you get what you pay for. We have found that the blade does not sharpen very well and it would be better to skip this one.
