Conclusion: We picked up this colander recently in Ikea. They have a very nice selection of kitchen gadgets and useful products at excellent prices. This colander replaces a very flimsy one that snapped. We really liked this design because it is so much sturdier. The solid feel makes it easier to flip pasta or strain mashed fruit through the holes. This is a great solid design.
