Conclusion: Anything that keeps your knives out of drawers is a good thing. Placing knives on a strip protects them from hitting other knives and protects you from reaching into a drawer and cutting yourself. We very much recommend people try this method. We are not fans of knife blocks since they seem to get in the way and can get dirty too easily.
