Brand & Type: Rival 5 quart Crock-Pot

Price range: low

Rating: 7

Description: Simplistic crook-pot with four settings: 4, 6, 8, and 10 hours

Pros: Well working simple crook pot that won't leave you confused with settings. The lid goes on well and the crock-pot works just as you would assume a crock-pot would. The white color of the pot makes it easier to see the food as opposed to some of the black ones out on the market.

Cons: This crock-pot doesn't have a timer other than the initial setting. It would be useful if it had a count-down clock so you knew how long the food has been cooking and how long it has left.

Conclusion: We got this crock-pot at a real bargain price and it has been great actually. We love the crock-pot concept especially for chili or stew, and we haven't had any problems with this one. The only negative aspect is the lack of a timer.
