Ingredients: - 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup butter (12 tb)
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 egg-beaten
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
 Method: In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder & salt. Cut in butter and stir in 1/14 cups walnuts. Add egg, milk & vanilla. Mix just until ingredients are blended & then put in a greased & floured 9 x 5 loaf pan. Sprinkle remaining walnuts over top. Bake at 350 degree oven for 60 -70 minutes.
