What could be better than sausage and pasta....easy dish that is always tasty and at the same time comforting. Add a salad and bread and of couse a glass of wine...now that's a meal! - Heat a large pot of salted water for the pasta I used rigatoni 1 pound
- In a large skillet cook about a 1 pound of ground sausage (mild or hot ) til no longer pink
- 1/2 cup diced onion & 2-3 garlic cloves crushed
- salt & pepper
- dash of red pepper flakes
Drain the pasta after 8 or 9 minutes and add it to the skillet adding some olive oil and a little bit of that pasta water add some scallions and parmesan cheese and serve
