If you're looking for Forever door replacement parts, then you have several options to choose between. It certainly can be a bit annoying to try to find the exact right door part, if your current one has broken, but it can be worth it to make an effort as opposed to switching out the entire door. You can find Forever storm door replacement parts, Forever wood storm doors, metal storm doors and Forever storm door hardware and among other products. If you currently have a door that isn't being made anymore, then it can sometimes be an issue to find the right part for it. In that case you sometimes have to improvise and try something new and hope it's going to fit right. One good idea, if a smaller part of the door has broken, would be to bring that part with you in the store. That way if you find the right part, you'll know it for sure, and you won't have to deal with buying something that in the end actually doesn't fit your current model.
Many replacement parts are easy to find and can be used interchangeably between various doors, however that is not always the case, it simply depends. These Forever door models are very nice and feature retractable glass panels and screens, water protection systems as well as push button handles. They are however pretty cheap so if you're sick of doors that break too easily (perhaps the handle isn't as sturdy as it should be or some other part is flimsy), then it may be worth it to look into replacing the door with something more durable and sturdy. After all, we use our doors all the time so often it can be worth it to buy something very substantial and strong and that often costs more than these cheaper models when tend to break more often...
EMCO 100 Series, 36 In. Width, White Door, Black Hardware, Self-Storing Storm Door

EMCO 200 Series, 36 In. Width, Bronze Door, Black Hardware, Triple-Track Storm Door

Name: Debra | Comment: I have the same door, bought in 1999. I have had to replace the handle set approx. 4 times already and I am actually calling tomorrow for another set. I am tired of the how it wears and how bad the finish looks just after a few months. They said if I want to change to the nickel one it would cost $60. I bet they have spent that much replacing the past 4 - going on 5 handle sets.

Name: Donna W | Comment: My handle is in place but never closed altogether unless you manually close it. What I need is a new handle because the brass is all pitted. Since it is the front door it looks terrible. I do not have the serial # or the sales receipt any longer. Bought it at Home Depot and same door still there but they will do nothing unless I have the above.

Name: Charlie | Comment: Open the Door and there should be a tag on the hinge side. On my door it's near the bottom of the door. There you should find the Serial Number and the following toll free number to call. Call this number 1-800-933-3626 and give them the serial number and they might be able to help you.
The doors them selves have a fairly nice warranty but the warrany on the HARDWARE ...stinks. It's only ONE year on the hardware.
My doo is just 2 years old and the inside lack just broke in pieces from Normal use. $18.00 for a new Inside latch, every 2 years , is ridiculous. That's 18.00 for just the inside part....Not happy at all.

Name: l wright | Comment: Forget these stupid doors....I am so disgusted with this door. I can't get the right latch parts from Home Depot and the Forever's rep in "broken" English tells me it's the right part but I need to cut it down with a "hock" saw. I went to Lowes and got help from someone who actually repaired it for free. I will be dealing w/Lowes from now on. The guys in Home Depo did nothing to help me and in fact made jokes about it...nice uh? and these stores wonder why they are going out of business!

I filled out the form on the web site by have never been contacted. HomeDepot said they were lifetime warranteed but what does he know. I think they keep changing the new ones so you'll have to buy a new door, because nothing fits! These are not universal so just anything can fit!

Name: cappy Comment: I've had a Forever crossbuck-style door for years. I think we installed it 19 years ago. This door has survived hurricane force winds, Nor'easters, blizzards, freezing rain, downpours, and four kids. The only problem I've ever had with it is with the handle. This will be the the second time I'll have to replace the same part. The one that came with the door did not last very long.
One does not have to replace broken parts with the same manufacturer name brand part, and pay the manufacturer name brand price. Instead of buying a new one from Emco, I bought a new one manufactured by Wright Products Corporation, and replaced the part I needed with one from that. Kudos to Wright for having made, in the USA(!), a better handle.
As for the complaints about how grungy the storm doors are looking, I painted ours right after we installed it. It is now in need of repainting. I just need to scrub off the surface dirt first.

Name: gary Comment: I also have a Forever screen door with sagging handle problems. Mine is model L-504937 bought in the 1990's. Called Forever door last year when it started acting up, they said no replacement parts so I nursed it until today when it finally gave up and would not latch any longer. Went to Ace Hardware and bought a pushbutton latch model 5414693 for under $12.00 and it works great. Used same holes in door, but had to add a 5/16 flat washer behind spring to cover big hole in door. [Handle covers washer so you cannot see it] It sure beats spending $200 on a new full view door.

Name: mrsH Comment: Forever view storm door A1231733 (full view model). Door handle issues like everyone else. Emco made the door but the handle lockset says PAPAIZ on the bottom of part of it, as well as Emco on the top of that part. Emco is now part of Anderson windows. They said the door was discontinued in 1998, the year we bought it. Anderson said the 34141 model will fit my door, but the screw holes in the door will need increasing to 1/4" from current 1/8". Cost is $67+ ship. =(
checking out PAPAIZ.com, it looks like Mz35 might be the lock, but some reviews on Amazon, where Papaiz sells their locks, noted the delivered lock was not Mz35 as shown in their photo and hence, didn't fit correctly. Bummer.
