Should a Seller Start With a High List Price?

The housing market has changed dramatically over the last year. The market has turned from a sellers to a strong buyers market.

If a seller chooses to list their home at a price higher than logic would demand, then the market analysis indicates that would be a severe error in judgment.

In this very strong buyers market sellers can not afford to waste any opportunity to sell their home. With too many homes on the market and not nearly enough buyers it seems that sellers may want to give strong consideration to listing their home slightly under what the market analysis suggests.

Getting an offer early in the listing process is better than waiting 30, 60 or more days with no activity.

Sellers may find that trying to sell their home as a for sale by owner is likely to have little success.

Having the professional assistance of a Realtor may save a great deal of frustration and money.
