Heavy, solid stainless steel, great blade Cons: none. Conclusion: Overall, in our experience Henckels knives are excellent. We have never had a problem honing them and find that if taken care of these knives will last a lifetime. This meat cleaver is a very solid well constructed tool. We use it for everything from meat to vegetables.
