Rand Paul "Handily Won" the United States Senate Primary in the State of Kentucky. I can almost hear Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Leader, saying "ouch" or more precisely what to do now!

The new phenomenon called the "Tea Party" had quite the affect on Kentucky Politics. The problem now is how will the Republicans deal with candidate Rand Paul? Rand Paul appears at first blush to be like a deer in the headlights when it comes to dealing with the media.

Yesterday Rachel Maddow, MSNBC Liberal Media Star, handed Rand Paul a question that will surely result in a million soundbite attack ads in the 2010 fall Senate election in the State of Kentucky. Rand Paul must not have "engaged his brain before engaging his mouth." In the year 2010 in the 21st Century how in the world could Rand Paul have even slightly hesitated in responding that he would even remotely consider revisiting the 1964 Civil rights Act? Rand Paul is certainly nothing like his famous or infamous Father Ron Paul. Even Ron Paul would not have slid down that slippery slope in his first day as a Republican Senate Candidate.

Rand Paul did put out a Press Release on May 20th that he "Unequivocally" would not seek to repeal the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Too late Mr. Rand Paul, the horse is already out of the barn!
