Time Magazine's Joel Stein, in the November 1 edition, writes about Republican Candidate Ron Paul and his "Revolution". Stein writes about the message Ron Paul has been talking about in 2007 is the same message Ron Paul was talking about three decades ago. Well, Ron Paul has supporters all over the Nation.

The Internet has been the "cash cow" for Ron Paul, having raised over $5 Million dollars at last count. Most of Ron Paul's supporters are the under 30 crowd giving small donations. Ron Paul has almost "disparagingly" been described, by Joel Stein, in his piece in Time as being "Great-grandfatherly". Well, Ron Paul, although 72, is and has been having the right affect on the youth of the nation.

Ron Paul is not afraid to say what he believes. That is certainly refreshing when everyone knows Hillary Clinton does not know what she stands for. Hillary Clinton panders to the particular group she is speaking to at that moment in time.

Ron Paul had a multitude of suppporters in the audience the other night when he (Ron Paul) made an appearance on the Tonight Show hosted by Jay Leno. That was free publicity. Leno has an audience of approximately 5 million late night viewers, most of whom are over the age of 30 years. That appearance by Ron Paul may have been the first time many of those viewers had an opportunity to hear what Ron Paul had to say.

Joel Stein mentions the Gallup Poll that had 72% of the respondents not knowing very much about Ron Paul. Polls are always subjective. How the questions are phrased, asked and to whom they are asked is always suspect.

Ron Paul has attracted new followers each time he has had a chance to be seen in the debates. Ron Paul's message is a clear simple philosophy of personal freedom and responsibility. Paul's message is basic "Americanism".

Ron Paul in his stump speeches talks about the "corrupt" Halliburton-Blackwater-like Military Industial influence. Think back to the last major address by Dwight Eisenhower , just before leaving office in January 1961. Eisenhower warned of the "Military-Industrial Complex" and that influence on those Governing.

Ron Paul was a young man in 1961 and this scribe was in High School. I too remember that address by Eisenhower.

GOP consultant Frank Luntz said, Ron Paul's supporters are like "crab grass", they are everywhere. Ron Paul may not be making a dent in the national polls yet, wait a few more weeks, Ron Paul may surprise everyone!

How Lame Is The Notion That "Americanism" Is Considered "Kook" and "Fringe" In The Country That Brought It About.

Detractors Prefer Their "Mushroom Status". Yes, Actual Understanding Of Reality Takes Effort And The End Conclusion Is Unpleasant. One Must Look Up From Their Feet To Get A True Sense Of Position. Most Would Prefer Not To Damage Their Paradigm By Discovering Premises That Do Not Fit.

The Stupid Claim => Party Before Country.

Character And Principle Should Be The Only Measure Of Suitability For Office.

The Fact That People Will Take Second Hand Information As Gospel Without Question Is Why We Have Such Corruption At All Levels Of Government. To Assume Benevolence Is Foolish.

Ron Paul Is Not For The Elimination Of Government; Just The Reduction Of The Federal, To Constitutional Levels, And Not In An Instant.

If Programs Have Merit They Will Be Implemented At The State Level.

Save The Republic Or Suffer What You Sow.

There Is Economic As Well As Nuclear Disaster Looming. The Options Are Limited At This Point. Business As Usual Will Not Suffice.

The Price Of Freedom Is Eternal Vigilance.

Country Before Party !!!
