Ron Paul certainly intimidates the "Psuedo Press". This is the term I use to define the numerous television political talk shows that have no other purpose than to "muckrake". The "Morning Joe" program, host Joe Scarborough, on MSNBC is the replacement program for Don Imus on MSNBC. In fairness to Joe Scarborough he was not present today. David Shuster, the requisite "Hatchet Man" for Chris Matthews was holding court today. Colonel Jack Jacobs, Medal of Honor recipient from Vietnam, was a guest host along with the lesser host, in the minds of MSNBC Executives, Mika Bzrezinski (she is the best of the bunch). The sole purpose in talking to Ron Paul was an attempt to make Ron Paul look foolish as a result of an exchange he had with Tim Russert on Meet the Press last Sunday. David Shuster did his best to have Ron Paul say something that would make him look like a "lunatic". Well, David Shuster failed. If only some of those News types had some intellect of their own. Ron Paul presented a cogent response to the issue of Abraham Lincoln and Lincoln's handling of Slavery and the Civil War. It is historical fact that more than 600,000 lives were lost in the bloodiest war in American History. Individaul positions aside, the Morning Joe interviewers had no other interest in Ron Paul except to make him look ridiculous! Ron Paul once again demonstrated his ability to deal with "insipid" questions from the less than capable media types. Why is the media so concerned about Ron Paul. It is because Ron Paul is incrementally gaining support from millions of people from across the nation. This fact makes the standard media nervous to have someone who is articulate enough to be able to deal with their moronic attacks. Keep up the good work Mr. Paul!
