Poor Economy Not a Strong Point for John McCain

If John McCain is to win in November he will need to become better informed in the discipline of Economics. The focus of the 2008 Election Campaign will continue to be that our nation is in a continued negative spiral economically as a result of the lack of "smart" Economic policy by George W. Bush.

John McCain will get "hammered" by either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton as a continuation of the Bush Administration. The potential for John McCain to lead or nation out of the "Economic Doldrums" is slim to none.

I am not confident that either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton has the skill/leadership to show the confidence, wisdom and tenacity to make the decisions necessary to retool the ineffective mechanisms in Washington D.C.

Therefore is there a clear and obvious leader to take the reins of leadership in the oval office? It does not seem to be John McCain. McCain has put his "marbles" in the security/protection of the people. It is not the message that resonates with the main stream voter.

Unless the economy makes a severe and quick positive turn upward (Very Unlikely) John McCain will need to construct a better economic message.
