More Than A Choice of Candidates at Stake in Today's Primary Elections

Texas, Ohio, Vermont and Rhode Island, much has been discussed about the importance of these States regarding the choice for the Democrat nomination for President. In the short view it appears that Hillary Clinton is still in the race, at least until the voters of these States and our Nation give Hillary Clinton the "Boot".

The longer view is that we are a Nation of principles, or at least that is the way the "Founding Fathers" had it in their vision. Politics is not a game for the faint of heart. Hillary Clinton would stop at nothing to get what she seeks, principles be damned. Even though Hillary Clinton would like those of us with "little sense' to believe, that she Hillary, is the answer to all of our troubles.

At the end of the day, literally in this case, our nation will have made the correct or hopefully not the incorrect choice in naming either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton as winner in Texas and Ohio. The correct choice in this case is Barack Obama.

Barack Obama is on balance the right choice to be the next President of these United States. Stop and take a moment to reflect on where we are as a nation. Our military is all but broken, our economy is becoming irrelevant to the rest of the World and good leaders do not want any part of Politics.

Barack Obama at first glance may not appear to be the best choice. Is there ever a "best" choice? Barack Obama would be under extreme pressure to bring together the vast "middle" in our nation. Barack Obama is the "best" choice to make this attempt.

Just for a minute, think of the "possibilities" before us. If we are to remain a strong nation we need "leadership" that is capable of going beyond the "rhetoric" of the "Clintons". We do not need more of the "Clinton and Bush" Political dynasty.

Education, Health Care, Social Security, and our broken down Military will need to be on the "front burner" in the next four years. Difficult decisions need to be made. Some people will need to confront the real truth that the United States cannot continue on its current course and remain stable as a "Republic".

Therefore, the voters in Texas, Ohio, Vermont and Rhode Island may be the key to the beginning of the next United States Century or possibly the continued deterioration of the "fabric" of our beloved country.

Barack Obama is the leader to take us forward. Hillary and Bill Clinton will not be the "co-Presidents" to take our Nation forward instead of more of the same.

My sense is that many care about this Nation as do I. Hopefully at the end of this day "Good Judgment" will prevail.
