Mitt Romney was probably the last kid chosen to play, when kids really did choose up teams on the playground. Romney just can't help himself; he comes off as a "clod". For the record that is the way playground teams were choosen back in the 1950's. The kid with the greatest athletic ability was always picked first; although not necessarily the smartest. This description fits Mitt Romney period. Smart in class and not so athletic on the playing field. However, after a great deal of meditation and personal "angst" I have come to the conclusion Mitt Romney would in fact be the right Republican candidate for President. In fact I would really like to see Mitt Romney and Barack Obama run on the same ticket, probably as Independents. That, would be a nice challenge to the "old guard". Well, John McCain is well past his prime. No offense to Bob Dole, I respect him, but Bob Dole is from another period in History. Anything That happened sixty and seventy or more years ago (In Bob Dole's case) is definitely History. McCain was a POW (forty years ago) and should be respected for his service, but the nation does not owe John McCain the Presidency of the United States. Our Country needs intelligent leadership and Mitt Romney is the person for the job. By the way do not forget anybody for President except Hillary Clinton! Comments, opinions.................
