Meet The Press this Sunday is something akin to the "Feminist" Hour, only kidding. The Round Table today, along with Tim Russert, includes Kate O'bierne National Review, Doris Kearns Goodwin Presidential Historian, Sally Bedell Smith author "For love of Politics", and Judy Woodruff PBS Contributor.

The focus of the discussion is none other than Hillary Clinton, Democrat Candidate for President. Hillary has been and continues to be dissected from all corners of the political universe. Hillary and Bill Clinton come as a "set". No matter their personal issues, the bond between the two of them, Bill and Hillary Clinton, is greater than their opponents acknowledge or realize.

Hillary Clinton should not be underestimated in her desire to win. Hillary will "steam roll" over opponents. Senator Barack Obama does not have the tenacity to go "toe to toe" with Hillary Clinton.

The panel, Judy Woodruff, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Kat O'bierne and Sally Bedell Smith, has not spoken of Senators Dodd, Biden or Governor Richardson. Enough said, meaning that by saying nothing, the Panel has labeled the aforementioned as having no hope of securing the nomination in the Democrat Party.

Back to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton has created "Separation" between herself and the others seeking the Democrat Nomination. Senator Clinton is the first word on the lips of all of the Republican Candidates, Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney particularly.

The breakdown of the electorate in 2004 was by percent, 54% women and well I suppose 46% men. This fact being so, it would seem that Hillary Clinton should have no problem winning any election. Not so fast annointing Hillary, The panel today "parsed" the appeal of Hillary Clinton with Women. Would Hillary Clinton antagonize mature women over say 60? The consensus was probably, enough dislike and distrust of Hillary Clinton, to push 2-4% of that group to the other candidate, presumably the Republican. The loss of just that percentage of women would leave Hillary the loser in any race.

Senator Hillary Clinton must therefore succeed in capturing/winning at least a quarter of the male voters over 50. This scribe would vote for Hillary Clinton rather than, say a Mitt Romney or Fred Thompson. I would never label Hillary Clinton as being "tepid" when it comes to something she "covets".

So, the male candidates from both the Republican and Democrat Party's had better be ready for something they may not be prepared for, Hillary Clinton, capable, articulate, persuasive and maybe the winner. Hillary may have the "Men" in the race, seeking more testosterone.
