CNBC host Maria Bartiromo interviewed Jack Welch, Retired GE Chairman, with some interesting comments from Jack Welch.

Jack Welch was clear that it is a Leaders job "to first define the position that they are taking" and not act first and then attempt to take a position why. I guess President George W. Bush should sit in on one of Jack Welch's sessions. Welch said, George Bush should have better defined the reasons for his recent veto over the S-Chip Bill recently sent to him by Congress.

Jack Welch also stated that any candidate that takes the position that we should be "protectionist" as a Nation can not win the 2008 Election. Jack Welch told Maria Bartiromo that "we are a Global Nation" and cannot return to the protectionist ways of the 1930's with the disatrous Smoot-Haley" Tariff bill that helped put our Nation into a Depression.

Jack Welch said nice things about Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani. Jack Welch said he favored Giuliani over Romney narrowly in the election.

Jack Welch went on to tell Maria Bartiromo that he thought Hillary Clinton was a "competent" individual. However, Hillary Clinton's ideas and "Policy" for our Nation would be disastrous.

Jack Welch commented on the current condition of the United States Economy. To quote Jack Welch, the Economy will "slow down", "no Recession", and a "Recovery in 2008".

Jack Welch also commented that "Globalization" has provided an untold number of new markets".

Jack Welch was bullish on the Economy and obviously bullish on the Republican, Rudy Giuliani.

Name: FraNK | Comment: Jack Welch is the reason America is going bankrupt. A CEO who turned a great manufacturing and R+D company into a liar loan lender that needed to be bailed out with trillions.

One of America's milestones of failure
