Erin Burnett, CNBC Commentator, is in Williamsburg, Virginia at the CEO Business Summit. She just concluded her interview with Kevin Sharer, CEO of Amgen Bio Tech.

Mr. Sharer told Erin Burnett that the key to improving Healthcare in our nation is "Leadership".

"To this point none of the Presidential Candidates has offered a credible Healthcare Plan", so says Kevin Sharer. Mr. Sharer told Erin Burnett that any solution to Healthcare should be Market based.

Kevin Sharer commented that some CEO's are seeking to do away with Employer Based Healthcare. Kevin Sharer stated to Erin Burnett that he was looking to change some of those opinions within the CEO ranks.

Sharer further commented that Business needs to be a part of the solution in fixing Healthcare along with Government.

Erin Burnett questioned Kevin Sharer about the future status of Amgen Bio Tech. Sharer said, Amgen is a strong Company with a bright future. Sharer also told Erin Burnett, that Amgen would continue to do right by its share holders.

The fix for Healthcare will not be achieved unless all candidates stop the rhetoric and apply good business principles to finding solutions.

So thinks this scribe.

Leadership?????????? Ask Kevin why his CFO got fired......then ask him why he really was asked to leave. I didn't know Heidi Fleiss was replaced. Better yet why don't you ask his former assistant. Maybe she will tell the truth.

Leadership??????????? where was Kevin Sharer the Friday before Black Wednesday at Amgen. While everyone was working to cut payroll and families income, Kevin called via cell phone....TAN, rested and relaxed. Where was Kevin that Friday. Out golfing and enjoying a day at the spa.

Leadership????????????? Do you really still need 2 private jets to fly your ass around?

Leadership?????????????? Everything at amgen is based on performance and a scale. At the end of the year you fit into categories that determing your compensation, bonus and promotion If Kevin was evaluated as the rest he would not have gotten a volunary package..........They would have Riffed him like everyone else last Wednesday.

Leadership???????????? The stock is lower today than when he came aboard. In any other corporation he would have been gone. If he was a coach he would not have lasted two years.

Leadership??????? Why does this guy have a Towncar an driver on Amgens dime??????? Maybe because he has no license because of 2 DUIs ....this is your CEO????

Leadership??????????? Extra Marital affairs with an employee underneath him(no pun) He gave Amgen business to her businesses???

Leadership????????? His dream team is a joke.. ask anyone who works at Amgen........to give you specific names....I can't....wish I could ....but in the end it all falls on the 40 million dollar man. Kevin. You could have saved good families jobs by getting rid of the 40 million a year you piss away on this worthless man. This is the biggest scam. Do you know how much they could have done to prevent this. Take a look at he budget............take a look at what they could have bought to diversify there business............Amgen has good people who are getting ^%&$ed by Kevin Sharer. Him and his boys club who have done nothing for shareholders but lose them money and layoff families..

Yes this is a normal business cycle...layoffs happen. But if you knew how they pissed money away on there ego and lifestyle you would see this did not need to happen to this company. Now they hire the attorneys.........now they talk about leadership........Get rid of Kevin and his arrogant executive team and save this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
