Barack Obama will need to learn the ways of "Politics" and the "Modus Operandi" of the Clintons if he expects to survive in his quest to secure the Democrat nomination for President. Barack Obama stands by his "pre-emptive" strike on Hillary Clinton after a Robert Novak column alleging the Clinton Campaign had "very damaging" information on Barack Obama. Does this sound like vintage Clinton or what? "I really value my reputation, my character and my family", Obama told reporters. Columnist Robert Novak reported that "agents" of Clinton's campaign uncovered dirt on Obama but failed to use it. Barack Obama took the offensive and released a statement that accused Clinton of dirty tricks, and called on Clinton to renounce those tactics. The Clinton "Team" response was that it had no idea what the Novak piece was referring to and said that Barack Obama was "naive" in not understanding that it was a Republican attempt to divide the Democrats. The truth may never get told. It won't really matter. The damage is done, the effect the Clinton "operatives" wanted was achieved. If it was a Republican effort, Hillary Clinton benefits anyway. Robert Novak is no "purist", remember the Valarie Plame episode. Anyway it is "parsed", a tinge of doubt will exist within some voters "psyche". Barack Obama may or may not have a "skeleton" in his closet. Hillary Clinton knows something about skeletons, her closet is over-flowing with skeletons. Hillary is smart, give credit where credit is due. Hillary "cast the first stone" through another "willing party", Bob Novak". So, if Barack Obama says anything "derogatory" about Hillary it will appear he is the "bad guy" and Hillary will gain sympathy rather than appropriate scorn. Oh, the games one plays in Politics! As I have written in earlier "essays", the Clinton "cabal" will take no prisoners and will do whatever it takes to achieve their mission, Hillary in the Whitehouse. I just do not think there is anyone in the Democrat field that can stop Hillary.......and Bill! Comments, opinions.......................
