My sister recently fell into this category as she needed a dress for her daughter's wedding, as well as a cruise she was planning for. So naturally - two dresses for the price of one! But there is a hitch, she needs a plus size. Well, we started browsing the Macy's website for some inspiration. Easy to find, the beautiful plus size dresses have come a long way. The lovely selection was so glamorous and stylish, in a range of sizes, prices, fabrics and amazing colors that we were in a world of our own.

Jacket dresses, tiered, long sleeved, pleated, cap sleeves, portrait collar and beaded in short and long lengths in feminine fabrics were abundant. The fashionable designs were all reasonably priced, and they even had suggested accessories available to complement any outfit from hadbags to shoes. We saw several on the site that appealed to us. One was a floor length jacket dress in black that was sleek and slimming from Alex Evenings and should I say stunning.
