As I was browsing the wedding shop at Dillard's the other day, I noticed a beautiful department of skirt suits or as Dillard's called them "Skirted Suits". What a perfect outfit for a traditional mother of the bride to wear for an afternoon wedding. Smart and sophisticated in a wide variety of classic and contemporary styles, the skirt suits from Tahari were rather impressive. I loved all the two and three piece suits from many brands, in so many feminine colors and at such reasonable prices. So many choices from beiges, pinks to deep blues and reds, nevermind the deep blue/blacks that were striking. I don't know how I'm going to make up my mind! The fabrics too were lovely and so many options of jackets from no collar to collars - belts - lace - straight skirt - a-line - shimmer or a flower print! I guess I'd better try on several for I'd like a comfortable, easy, and stylish fit.
Well the skirt suits were really so pretty and perfect for what I was looking for. I think I'll stand out in my timeless skirt suit that can be worn again and again for different social functions. I love the ensemble look that only needs jewelry and pumps to create an elegant, tailored style to mark this occasion. So, in retrospect I love the choice I made for a skirt suit in a color that complemented me and the small bridal party, and of course the intimate reception, among the lovely table settings and flowers, greeting all my guests.
