I was looking for a simple yet elegant mother of the bride dress in a plus size for an evening affair and the selection at Nordstrom was inviting as well as impressive. I wanted to express myself in a classic and timeless evening dress that was age appropriate and naturally flattering. I was making a judgement call, and after all, I am the mother of the bride! So I was looking for a cut that was tailored, flowing and feminine and the JS Boutique line had several options that would fit my needs and be perfect at reasonable prices and smart colors, and that would complement me and the bridal party for a fall wedding. I especially liked the darker hues that were slimming for a full figure woman, in soft fabrics and accentuating all my features in short or long lengths.
I couldn't make up my mind so I tried on many that would be the right choice for the ceremony and reception to follow. I wanted to be comfortable in an easy to wear dress that could be worn again for another social function and priced right.
