It was a picture perfect day as we headed to Left Coast Cellars for a lite lunch and more importantly wine. The landscaping was just lovely along the roadway with grape vines, lavender, roses and black-eyed susans - greeting us and setting the mood for a very enjoyable time. The sun was shinning brightly and the winery was quite busy with customers as we approached the tasting room.
We decided on a pinot noir rose with our brie, skewed tomatoes and mozzarella with a carrot cake for dessert. This relaxed atmosphere was so delightful for a quiet afternoon lunch. The wine was just perfect not sweet and more orangey in color than pink or red - just a little bit different and fun. Inside, the gift baskets were beautifully displayed with wine and glasses and seating both inside and out. We certainly enjoyed this lovely afternoon trip to Left Coast Wine Cellars and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
