Cooperstown, New York is a special place. I have been there on many occasions but never on the day of the annual Baseball Hall of Fame Inductions. This year Andre Dawson is the only player elected with at least 75% of the votes of the baseball sportswriters.

Jon Miller Broadcaster, Bill Madden Sportswriter, Doug Harvey Umpire and Whitey Herzog, Former St. Louis Cardinals  Manager, are the other inductees.

Willie Mays, Joe Morgan, Bob Feller, Rollie Fingers, Carlton Fisk, Frank Robinson, Johnny Bench & Al Kaline are but a few of the Baseball Immortals that are in Cooperstown this Sunday. Yogi Berra is missing due to his recent injuries from a fall at his home in New Jersey.

Congratulations to the new inductees.
