This weekend the PGA Tour will have as a part of the "Fall Finish" the Fry's Electronics Open in Arizona. This will be the inaugural Tournament for the Fry's Electronics Open, with some of the bigger names in Golf participating. The number two in the World Phil Mickelson will be playing this weekend along with Mike Weir, John Daly and David Duval. Tiger Woods will not be joining them this week, but as long as Phil Mickelson is there the televison ratings will be a success. Sorry, Messrs. Duval, Daly and Weir, your collective participation does not ensure ratings success. Mr. Mickelson will guarantee that. The "purse" this week is just! $5 million, not exactly monstrous by PGA Tour standards. Well, this scribe will watch just because of Phil Mickelson, and well, I always root for John Daly and well David Duval was once Number One in the Golf World.
