The Major League Baseball Regular Season has just concluded, with one exception. Today, October 1, 2007, The Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres will have a one game "shootout" to see who will play The Philadelphia Phillies in the Playoffs.

In the American League I think the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels  will be victorious over the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox respectively. The Indians will fold, the Yankees beat the Indians 6-0 during the regular season. The Boston Red Sox have a major problem under the radar. Manny Ramirez needs to go and quickly. Schilling's arm is gone and Beckett will fold under the pressure of the playoffs. Tim Wakefield is the only hope for the Red Sox.

The Yankees will prevail and beat the Angels to win the Pennant. The Angels have always been trouble for the Yankees, however, I see the Yankees as totally focused and ready to run the table. Andy Pettitte is a good man to have on your team when a pressure game needs to be won.

In the National League The Mets total collapse is the buzz. The fact the Mets could not win is a reflection on the Coaching Staff. I think Willie Randolph is a wonderful man, however he is not a strong willed leader. Failure resulted and finger pointing will be the bottom line for the New York Mets.

I see the Phillies and the Cubs fighting for the Pennant with the Cubs being victorious.

I see 2007 as the year that was made for a Chicago Cub, New York Yankee World Series. This matchup will be the best for Baseball. I see the Yankees winning the World Series in six games versus the Chicago Cubs.
