The Boston Celtics have a record of 20-2 to this point in the 2007-2008 Basketball season. Bill Russell must think he is seeing the Celtics of his day. The public has not been treated to a "great" Celtic team since, well, 1986.

The addition of Kevin Garnett along with Paul Pierce and Ray Allen seem to have the right "chemistry". If the Celtics stay focused they could possibly set the record for victory's for all-time Celtic teams.

That is possible considering the Celtics of Russell, Cousy, Havlichek, Bird, Cowens etc. were pretty darn good. Bill Russell has 11 Titles with 11 rings. Only Yogi Berra can come close with 10 World Series rings as a New York Yankee.

The Basketball season is long and difficult. Injuries and attitude play a role that cannot be under-estimated.

The bottom line here is it is a good feeling to see the Celtics return to the spotlight. I can remember watching those Cousy, Sharman, Russell, Heinshon teams of the 50's and 60's.
