Epoxy Paint and Coating
Epoxy paint makes for a great waterproof surface on, for example, a garage floor. Epoxy paint is easy to clean but it will not allow moisture to be absorbed through a concrete garage floor.
Puddles will tend to remain unless they are wiped up. One solution is to use a rubber mat or some other type of material that will absorb moisture and avoid puddling.
Not a Good Idea to Paint Front Porches with Epoxy
Any surface that is used as ingress or egress from a dwelling probably should not be painted with epoxy paint. The primary reason for not doing this is that epoxy paints create a waterproof surface. Therefore rain, melted snow and moisture in general cannot be absorbed into concrete.
