Most people have their preference on how they like their tuna salad. While some people simply addtuna_salad some mayo and call it a day, we like to dress our tuna salad with celery, apple and red onion.

Sour cream adds some nice acidity and we like to use a ratio of 50:50 between mayonnaise and sour cream. A little lemon juice as well as balsamic vinegar, also goes very well with tuna, as well as a variety of spices: herbs, onion powder, cayenne etc... One spice in particular: lemon pepper works wonderfully in tuna salad and is quite an underrated spice in general.

Either serve this on a sandwich, or on a bed of greens. A nice tuna salad is the perfect way to get your dose of good fats, and it's delicious as well...

Name: Sara | Comment: This is a great recipe. There's a little gourmet grogery in Claremont, CA that makes their tuna salad this way...My family used to buy it by the pound and complain about how quickly it went...DELICIOUS!!!!

Name: Amber | Comment: This recipe is amazing. I had it a couple years ago on a canoe trip, and it was definitely a recipe I took home with me. It is so good but I wouldn't recommend trying to put it in the fridge for long, the apples get soggy and it gets really gross.
