Metric Sizes and Bottle Names For Wine

Most table wines come in a standard 750 ml bottle, but here are some other sizes you may encounter. Note that fluid ounces are not similar to ounces used in mass measurements. Although many liquids, such as water are 16 fluid ounces to a pound, others are not, such as vegetable oil.
