This dish is relatively straight-forward. The calorie content per serving is comparatively low and the cost is mainly brought high by the chicken (thighs and breasts), white wine, capers and fresh basil.

To reduce costs slightly, replace the chicken breasts by bone-in breasts, drumsticks or additional thighs. Substitute the white wine with dry Vermouth and add fresh parsley instead of basil.
