Chard, Swiss Swiss chard is a versatile cooking green vegetable with a mild sweet yet slightly bitter flavor. The leaves can be smooth or curly attached to fleshy, crunchy white, red or yellow stalks. An excellent source of vitamins A & C. Serving size is about 1/2 cup cooked.
