Asparagus One bunch is about a pound. Prices fluctuate all the time on produce but they are usually within a range ($1 - $5) depending on your area. Asparagus is found in green and white varities with a sweet nutty taste. Stalks that are narrow are the more tender with a good offering of vitamins and minerals. Perfect for stir frying, lightly steamed or cooked in the microwave. A serving size is about 1/2 cup cooked or raw sliced.
