Smoking Loon Viognier is a California wine that has found a niche in the Oregon wine market. It is moderately priced at around $10-$15 a bottle, depending where purchased. This Viognier has a citrus bouquet and is easy on the palate. Well balanced yet not too dry. A good selection to go with a light meal, chicken, fish perhaps some cheese and crackers. This wine will fit into most budgets. It will not disappoint you or your dinner guests. However, I would not put Smoking Loon Viognier on my "top 5" list of choices. I rate this wine as "C+".
