Friday, September 10, 2010 was a mix of emotions as the Candidates for the 4th Congressional District in the State of Oregon met for a debate of the issues in the City of Eugene, Oregon.
This debate was sponsored by the City Club of Eugene with the venue being the Eugene Hilton. The debate began just after noon and can be characterized as essentially each candidate esposing their core positions. Candidate Beilstein stating unequivocally his stance against the Wars in Iraq & Afghanistan. Candidate and current incumbent DeFazio made the case that he is a fighter for the citizens of the 4th Congressional District and will even go against his own party when necessary.
