Philomath has a new upscale food store. Ray's Food Place is now open in Philomath. The Philomath Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting today to welcome Ray's Food Place to Philomath. Philomath Chamber of Commerce President Linda Elwer was there and welcomed everyone to the Ribbon Cutting.
When I arrived around 8 am the parking lot was already nearly filled to capacity and shoppers were busy loading their groceries into their vehicles. Kerry Gooseman, Store Manager, welcomed everyone to the festivities and commented how excited she and all of the employees of Ray's Food Place were to now be in Philomath.
Philomath residents along with Corvallis residents now have another alternative place to do their shopping.
