On the heels of the 40th anniversary Corvallis Fall Festival, the board of directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Executive Director Christine Hackenbruck.
Hackenbruck will follow the decade-long leadership of retired director Cynthia Spencer, and stepped up this month to fill a vacancy left by the most recent director, Chris Neely, who resigned in January to pursue other educational and career opportunities.
New Director Hackenbruck has many ties to the mid-valley theater scene. She is an assistant technical director for the Corvallis School District Theaters, and served the technical director and theater manager for Majestic Theatre Management from 2004 to 2011. She has lived in Corvallis for 10 years and is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana.
For the past three years, Corvallis Fall Festival was voted “best festival” by readers of Mid-Valley Newspapers in the Top of the Valley awards. The 41st annual festival is planned for Sept. 28-29, 2013, and applications are now being accepted for artists. For more information, see
