Mary's Peak Winery is in the Boutique Winery Category. Mary's Peak Winery is located in Philomath, Oregon. Ken & Nancy Elwer are the owners. I visited there some time ago and sampled some of their product. The Chardonnay was quite good. Mary's Peak Chardonnay has a bold yet delicate buttery somewhat nutty texture with some notes of oak. I subsequently purchased another bottle and would describe the experience as being the same with one addition, I would include a hint of fruit along with the butternut texture. It was pleasing on the palate with no harsh after taste. I recommend this wine and would purchase again. I give Mary's Peak Chardonnay an "A-" rating.
