Friday March 18th Strom Boulder Ridge. On this walk we gain the ridge totally on gravel roads in the Burnt Woods area of the Coast Range.  This loop hike alternately passes through lush forest and thinned timberlands with far-reaching views of forests below.  7.6 miles.  1,430 feet of elevation gain.  Moderate.  Meet at the northwest corner of the Bi-Mart parking lot at the intersection of 53rd and Philomath Road at 10:00 a.m.  Pack a lunch and water and dress, as always, for the weather.  Contact leader:  Leslie Hogan, at 541-924-0130
