The weatherman is predicting some warm weather starting today Tuesday, July 6th. For the next five to seven days Corvallis and the Mid-Willamette valley will have temperatures in the mid 90's. This will be the first real warm/hot weather this year.
The best way to stay cool is to remain in the shade when possible and dress in cool and light colored clothing. Try to do strenous work either early in the day or later in the evening when temperatures will be moderate.
Avoid consumption of alcoholic beverages in the heat and eat light to moderate meals. Salads are great and cool water is the best beverage.
Do not use your lawn mower during the heat of the day. By not using gas powered vehicles such as lawn mowers you will cut pollution.
Gasing up your car either early in the morning or late in the evening is also something you can do to moderate gas fumes into the atmosphere.
Stay cool & have a great day!
