Corvallis is a busy place this Father's Day, June 17, 2012. First, Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there, me included! In addition Corvallis is especially a fun place to be today, the 143rd Commencement at Oregon State University. First Lady Michele Obama will give the Commencement Address. Hopefully I will have some pictures and a short piece on the happenings at Reser Stadium later today.
The weather today is pretty much a winner for all concerned. Sunny, great temperatures predicted for later this evening and lots of great things happening for the local Corvallis Economy.
Just be patient today if traveling by car most anywhere around town. Parking will be an issue, it is most every day, but more so an issue today. Walking to Reser Stadium may be the most efficient mode of transportation today. I will be using my trusty bicycle while maneuvering the streets today. I usually do that most every other day anyway.
