Tuesday September 18th was a special day at Oregon State University in Corvallis. The Student Success Center officially opened as another venue for Oregon State students to use in the pursuit of their continuing education. Remarks by Oregon State President Dr. Ed Ray, Oregon State Representative Andy Olson, Steering Committee Co-Chair Patrick F.Stone and Acting Coordinator BEST Bridge Program Howard E. Croom III preceded the afternoon reception and self guided tours of the new facility.
The Student Success Center combines state of the art classrooms and proven peer tutoring and academic counseling services for Oregon State students. The Student Success Center was made possible by generous donors to the campaign for OSU, the University's first campus-wide fundraising initiative and matching funds from the State of Oregon.
