Sunday December 7th 1941, should be a familiar day in our History. Why have I not seen or heard anything today about the 69th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor? Per President Franklin Roosevelt, that was "a day that would live in infamy". Well for those that are too young or for those that forgot, today is the 69th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (not yet a State). The beginning of the United States involvement in World War ll. Let us not forget those World War ll veterans that are still alive. Their number becomes fewer by the day. The way we honor insignificant days during the course of the year we ought to honor this day!
