The year 2012 was full of interesting, thoughtful, and timely events in Corvallis, Oregon. I have been fortunate to have participated in and or been an attendee at many noteworthy news happenings in our community. When I began looking through the many thousands of photos from 2012 I found it nearly impossible to leave out an event that may be the one that the discerning reader may want to become a part of in 2013.
So, I have included 200+ photos with captions identifying location, happening etc. My hope is that you will take a few minutes to "click" through these photos and perhaps you might find that you were actually there!
Many of the events of the Kiwanis Club of Corvallis are included. First as a member of Kiwanis I want to make certain our community knows of the fine work Kiwanis members perform each year and second perhaps you may want to become a member of Kiwanis in 2013.
Corvallis City Club is another fine group of local citizens and business people. You will perhaps also consider joining Corvallis City Club? Then what about volunteering at the Corvallis Senior Center or hike with the Marys Peak Group, both excellent ways to get to know Corvallis better.
Plan on attending a Corvallis City Council meeting in 2013, find out more about how your local Government operates. Oregon State University is a major and vital cog in our community. Many opportunities are available in 2013 to attend an event at OSU, think about it!
There is the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition, CASA, Downtown Corvallis Association and many more civic, fraternal and business groups that are available to join.
Hope you will enjoy this pictorial of Corvallis 2012!
