Earlier Today a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held at the Grand Reopening of the Children's Farm Home Old School in Corvallis. John Hope-Johnstone was the Master of Ceremonies and  Sara Gelser and Andy Olson from the Oregon State House of Representatives addressed the more than 100 attendees gathered in the front courtyard of the Children's Farm Home Old School.

Nearly 400 individual donors have contributed to this fundraising effort over the past several years. Dave and Penny Lowther were recognized for their generous gift in memory of Hazel V. Lowther. Kim Scott CEO of Trillium Family Services also addressed those assembled.

Built in 1925 the historic building features a café and gift shop, and offers meeting and conference space available for public bookings.

Listed on both national and Benton County historic registries, the re-birth of Trillium’s Old School is truly an event to be celebrated.
