Christmas is only a few days away! The weatherman is giving a big assist this year, making it really feel like the Winter Solstice has given new meaning to this Holiday season. Cold temperatures have been the case for much of December in Corvallis and most of Oregon.

The Benton County Courthouse has been decorated for several weeks and looks most festive on December 22nd. Downtown Corvallis was busy at 5pm with shoppers getting their holiday gifts while attempting to stay warm.

Traffic was brisk on Fourth Street downtown. This evening there was a traffic delay on Fourth Street heading South as a tow truck was removing a parked vehicle. The Corvallis Police Department was dealing with the traffic and coordinating the removal of the vehicle.

No matter the chill, there was also the omnipresent group of protestors in front of the Benton County Courthouse holding their signs in protest of War!

Just another average day in Corvallis.
