The Number 5 University of Oregon Ducks defeated the #9 Southern California Trojans 24-17 today at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. The Ducks can now begin to think about playing in the National Title game in January.

Ohio State defeated Penn State today and will remain #1. Oregon should move up to at least the #4 position in the top 25 and be in a higher spot in the BCS Computer rankings.

Today was the first time in Autzen Stadium's 41 year history that two top ten teams played. The game drew a record crowd of 59,277 fans.

When the Oregon State Beavers travel to Eugene, December 1, to play the University of Oregon Ducks, the Nation will be treated to, by that time, two top 25 teams, Oregon State included in the top 25, playing from the PAC 10 on ESPN2.

Sun Oct 28, 2007 12:52 pmI would like to see Ohio St play Oregon either in the National Championship or the Rose Bowl. I think that would be an interesting match-up and a good game. I'd be curious to see if OSU's defense can contain Dixon.
