Today, Saturday, September 12th was a warm, no hot, sunny day in Corvallis, Oregon. While the thermometer was hovering near 90 degrees several hundred wine enthusiasts traversed downtown Corvallis visiting more than two dozen Oregon Wineries inside many downtown Corvallis Businesses. 
This is the Sixth year that the Downtown Corvallis Association has organized this event. Joan Wessell, Executive Director of the Downtown Corvallis Association, has again been hugely successful in her efforts to bring "locals and out of towners" to the core business district of Corvallis, Oregon. I stopped by several businesses on Second Street to get the "flavor" of the days activities. Inside Out Garden Visions was host to Namaste Vineyards and Downtown Dental was host to Airlie Winery. Grass Roots Book Store was host to "In Vitis Wine Club." 
Everyone was enjoying the late afternoon sun and fellowship was evident as I walked down the street. Randy Jost from KEZI 9 Television was there with his family and Brian Egan from Corvallis Kitchen and Bath was partaking some of the great wine and finger foods at Downtown Dental on Second Street.
