Sunday we ventured out to visit Namaste Vineyards located in the Northern Willamette Valley in Dallas, Oregon. Namaste Vineyards is owned by Chris Miller who opened the vineyard in 2002. Chris has approximately 35 acres of grapes planted out of his total 200 acres of property. The Winery, which has a tasting room, is open on weekends from March until December from 12-6 pm. One unique feature available to wine tasters is the option to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy your favorite bottle of wine along with some bread, cheese, grapes and fresh fruit under the shade of a huge "live Oak" looking out on the rolling hillside covered in grape vines. Namaste Vineyards also plays hosts to weddings and other special events in a picturesque setting surronded by grapevines, meadows and forest. Namaste Vineyards is a very easy 35 mile drive from Corvallis and even closer from Salem, Oregon. Namaste Vineyards is located at 5600 Van Well Road in Dallas, Oregon. It is approximately three miles from the turnoff (Signage) on Highway 22.
